Apple Pie

This mini apple pie is the perfect single-serving dessert.

Servings: ~6 pies

 

Ingredients

Crust (enough for ~6 pies)

1.25 cups flour

2 tbsp vegetable oil

1/4-1/3 cup milk (recipe calls for 1/3 cup, but I only needed 1/4 cup)

 

Filling (enough for ~8 pies)

3 cups apples

1.5 tbsp sugar (oprional)

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1.5 tsp cornstarch

 

Instructions

1. Pie crust: Add wet to dry. Form into ball. Roll out. Add to pie pan. Pre-bake ~15 minutes.

2. Filling: Combine ingredients. Divide into pie crusts. Bake ~20 minutes more at 425 degrees.

 

Notes: I used red delicious apple and no sugar--wasn't very sweet but was still tasty.

 

Notes 2: Delish. The only downside when cooking in mini pie molds is that there is a high ratio of crust to pie.
