Slightly sweet. Delish.

Celery Root-

Very strong celery flavor (even smells like celery). I wasn't a big fan of it because it tastes bitter.

Would I buy it again? No

Would I eat it again? Maybe/Yes

Radishes-

Taste great roasted

Would I buy it again? Yes

Kalettes-

Tastes like kale when raw, but even better roasted (and cooks quickly too)

Would I buy it again? Yes

Baby Kale-

Tastes exactly like normal kale

Would I eat it again? Yes

Mache Rosettes-

Tastes like spinach--nothing unusual or special about flaovr

Would I eat it again? Yes

Would I buy it again? Yes, but wouldn't go out of my way to do so

Mamey Sapote-

To pick, scratch skin and make sure it is dark orange on both ends. Wait for it to soften like a ripe avocado or pear. Tastes like a very sweet sweet potato with a slightly powdery texture.

Rhubarb-

Tastes like lime

Would I buy it again? Yes

Fruit

Prickly Pear

Doesn't have much flavor, seeds are hard and make fruit difficult to eat

Papaya-

Mild flavor, smells like vomit, tastes better with lime juice

Rambutan-

Tastes sort of like a grape

Longan Fruit-

Juicy. Tastes like jelly candy. Very seet. $4.99/ pound. Cost 55 cents for 6.

Would I buy it again? Yes

Would I eat it again? Yes

Lychee-

Jelly consistency. Tart flavor. Had a floral note the second time I tried it. Was $4.99 / pound, cost 36-45 cents for 2.

Baby Guava-

Firm texture, like unripe pear. Tastes like lime. A lot of seeds.

Would I buy it again? No

Would I eat it again? Yes

Cara Cara Orange-

Looks like an orange from the outside. The first time I tried it, it tasted sour--like a Grapefruit. But the second time I tried it, it tasted sweeter than an orange.

Would I buy it again? Yes (if it is the same price as an orange)

Would I eat it again? Yes

Passion Fruit-

Tasted sour. Seed texture inside. Weighted 0.14 pounds. Wrinkly. Smelled sour outside.

Would I buy it again? No (unless it smelled sweet)

Would I eat it again? Not particularly

Dragon Fruit-

First time: Hint of lime taste, very subtle, not very sweet. Texture of kiwi.

Second time: Tastes like mild kiwi

Would I buy it again? No

Gooseberry-

Texture of a cherry. Slightly sour orange flavor. Tastes good.

Would I buy it again? Yes

Would I eat it again? Yes

Fresh Dates-

Crunchy texture. Stringy consistency. Have an off, pesticid-y flavor. I like the texture of dried dates better.

Would I buy it again? No

Would I eat it again? Yes

Feijoa-

Bland, hint of lime flavor, harder texture than pear, mine was brown which indicates it was overripe, had strong sent but no give

Would I buy it again? No

Would I eat it again? Wouldn't be my first choice

Fuyu Persimmon-

Very sweet. I bought it for 98 cents.

Hachiya Persimmon-

Eat these when they are soft (like a water ballon). It took mine about 1 week to ripen. I bought it for $1.50. It is delcious--as sweet as sugar.

Cherimoya-

This fruit tastes like a ripe pear.

Would I buy it again? Yes--depending on price

Dried Mulberries-

Taste sweeter as you chew them.

Fuzzy skin. A little more sour than a plum

Would I buy it again? Yes

Tamarind-

Sort of tastes like raisins but has a distinct odd flavor.

Would I buy it again? Not unless I needed them for a recipe

Would I eat it again? Yes

Plumcots-

Taste almost exactly like plums

Would I buy it again? Yes--just as likely to buy these as plums

Would I eat it again? Yes

Mangosteen-

Flavor of a tangerine but suprisingly juicy texture. Cost about $5.99/pound or ~$1 each

Would I buy it again? Probably not, because taste is just like tangerine but it is more expensive

Would I eat it again? Of course!
