Asian Glazed Drumsticks

Try this spin on drumsticks with a delicous Asian-inspired sauce.

Ingredients

8 drumsticks, skin-removed

1 cup water

1/3 cup balsamic vinegar

1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce (or half the amount of regular soy sauce)

3 cloves garlic

1 tsp fresh ginger

2 tbsp chives or scallions

1 tsp sesame seeds

 

Instructions

1. Brown chicken in  saucepan (3-4 minutes).

2. Combine water, balsamic viengar, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. Add to pan and bring to boil. Simmer, covered, for ~15 minutes, flipping halfway through. Remove from skillet.

3. Allow sauce to reduce (8-10 minutes). Drizzle over chicken.

4. Top with chives and sesame seeds.
