Banana Breakfast Quinoa

This breakfast dish uses quinoa, a healthy superfood and complete protein.

Ingredients

1/4 cup quinoa

1 banana

1/4 cup milk (optional)

2 tbsp walnuts

1/4 tsp cinnamon

 

Instructions

1. Rinse quinoa.

2. Cook according to package directions in water.

3. Stir in remaining ingredients. Enjoy!

372 calories, 12.8g fat, 60g carbs, 7g fiber, 17.5g sugar, 9g protein

 

Notes: Very sweet. Maybe because I used an extremely ripe banana
