Banana Chia Oats

These banana chia oats have a soft porridge consistency. It is a great twist on traditional oatmeal.

Ingredients

1/3 cup oats

1 tbsp chia seeds

1 cup milk

1 ripe banana, mashed

1/4 tsp vanilla (I omitted this)

1/2 cup blueberries (optional)

1/2 cup walnuts (optional)

 

Instructions

1. Mix oats and chia seeds.

2. Add milk, mashed banana, and vanilla.

3. Refrigerate overnight.

4. Add blueberries and walnuts if desired

 

Nutrition Information (without blueberries or walnuts)

355 calories, 14.4g fat, 49g carbs, 13.2g fiber, 14.5g sugar, 10.3g protein

 

Notes: Doesn't have a ton of banana flavor
