Breakfast Bars

Try these banana breakfast bars for a quick breakfast.

Yield: ~12 bars (It yielded about 20 bars for me)

 

Ingredients

1 cup flour

2 cups oats

1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

2 bananas

18 dates, mashed

1/4 cup milk

2 tbsp oil

1 tsp vanilla

1 egg + 1 egg white

3/4 cup walnuts

3/4 cup raisins

 

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

2. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients.

3. Stir in nuts and raisins.

4. Bake 15-20 minutes. Cool. Cut into bars.

Notes: They puff up a bit when the cook. Tastes like a cinnamon raisin oatmeal cookie.
