Brownie in a Mug- Version 1
This recipe is amazing--so fudgy and intensely chocolatey. It is a personal favorite.
Ingredients
1 tbsp applesauce (or 1 tbsp yogurt)
3 dates, mashed (try using 2 next time, since that might be enough)
2 tbsp flour
1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 egg
1/8 tsp vanilla
pinch salt
Instructions
1. Mix ingredients in a mug.
2. Microwave 1 minute

Notes: The original recipe called for 1/4 egg or egg white, but the texture is much better with 1/4 egg. With the egg white, it will taste more spongy. Do not recommend with egg white. I used applesauce (instead of yogurt) and 1/4 egg. and it was good.

1.5 dates (try reducing to 1 date)
2 tbsp mashed bananas
pinch baking soda
pinch salt
Instructions
1. Mix ingredients in a mug.
2. Microwave 1 minute

Notes: Original recipe said you could use applesauce or mashed bananas, but it tastes terrible with applesauce and much butter with mashed bananas. With applesauce, you could taste the apple flavor and the texture was terrible.
