No-Bake Fudge Brownies

These no-bake brownies are quick to prepare and rich-tasting.

Ingredients

1 cup almond meal

1/2 cup cocoa powder

1.25 cups dates (~40)

4 tsp water if needed for blending

 

Instructions

1. Combine ingredients into 8 x 8 pan. 

2. Optionally, sprinkle with cacao nibs.

3. Refrigerate to set up.

 

Nutrition Information (based on 8 servings)

172 calories, 7.5g fat, 24.6g carbs, 4.3g fiber, 17.9g sugar, 4.6g protein

Note: I used homemade almond meal. Tastes a bit dense. They are sticky at first. Refrigerate to set up.

5-Ingredient Raw Brownies

These no-bake brownies are quick to prepare and rich-tasting.

Yield: ~8 brownies

 

Ingredients

10 tbsp almond butter

1/2 cup almonds

1/2 cup cocoa powder

3/4 cup dates

1 tsp vanilla

1/4 tsp salt (This is too much)

 

Instructions

1. Blend almonds in food processor until nearly pulverized.

2. Add dates and almond butter. Blend until cohesive, sticky mixture.

3. Add remaining ingredients. Blend.

4. Pour onto wax paper. Pack very tightly. (If you don't press tightly enough, they will crumble.)
