Cinnamon Nut Stuffed Persimmons

Baked persimmons go perfectly with this cinnamon and nut topping!

Ingredients

1 Hachiya persimmon

4 tsp walnuts

4 tsp almonds

2 tsp chestnuts (I did not use)

1/12 tsp cinnamon

1/24 tsp cloves

1/24 tsp vanilla

 

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

2. Cut out top of persimmon. Core out the middle.

3. Chop nuts. Place nut/spice mixture inside.

4. Put tops back on. Bake 15-20 minutes. Enjoy!

Note: I only used a small piece of my persimmon, since I also wanted to try other recipes. Roasting the persimmon softens it up and mellows out the flavor--making it go better with the spices and nuts.
