Barbecue Sauce

This barbecue sauce is a tad spicy and has no added sugar.

Ingredients

6 oz tomato paste

1/3 cup apple cider vinegar

3 tbsp white wine vinegar

1/2 cup water (or more if too thick)

2 tbsp worcestershire sauce (It is okay to sub soy sauce)

2 tsp chili powder

1/2 tsp adobo sauce (I omitted)

1/4 small yellow onion, grated (You can probably omit this)

1 large garlic clove, grated (I omitted)

1 tsp salt

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp ground black pepper

 

Instructions

1. Combine all ingredients in saucepan

2. Bring to boil and simmer for about an hour.

Notes: I only simmered it for 5 minutes because it kept on splattering all over the place. Tastes great and a tad spicy. couldn't find many recipes to use it in, but it tasted good on barbecue chicken pizza.

Notes: Try using it in a chicken stir fry or serving it with potato wedges.
