Strawberry Compote

You'll love this strawberry compote with pancakes, a cheesecake, or crepes. It can even serve as jelly for a PB&J.

Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

16 oz sliced strawberries

1/4 cup date water (do not omit)

1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions

1. Place all ingredients on stove (starting with cover on). Cook until softened. Slightly break up with back of a spoon

2. Enjoy!

Notes: Great on top of banana pancakes
