Orange and Beef Stir Fry

This beef stir fry uses orange slices for extra orange flavor.

Ingredients

1.5 pounds flank steak, thinly sliced

2 oranges, segmented

juice of 2 oranges

zest of 1 orange (or zest 2 since you have them)

1 bell pepper

2 garlic cloves, minced

2 tbsp soy sauce

3 green onions, sliced

 

Instructions

1. In a small bowl, combine sauce ingredients including garlic.

2. Brown beef on all sides. Remove.

3. Add bell pepper and cook for 2-3 minutes.

4. Pour orange juice and cook until really syrupy.

5. Add segmented oranges and green onions. Cook until oranges start to break down.

6. Add beef and toss in sauce.
