Grape and Apple Crisp

When grapes are in season, give this crisp recipe a try

Yield: 2.5-3 servings

 

Ingredients

Filling:

1 Granny Smith apple (~1.5 cups)

1/2 cup red grapes

4 tsp orange juice

1.125 tsp flour

3/4 date

Topping:

2.5 tbsp quick oats

1 tbsp flour

1 date

1.5 tsp coconut oil (I only used 1/2 tsp)

3/4 tsp apple or orange juice

 

Instructions

1. Bake for 45 minutes at 375 degrees.

 

Notes: The downside of this recipe is that the apples take longer to cook than the grapes. Only make this when you have a lot of time. I used a regular apple instead of a Granny Smith. I also omitted the orange juice and date from the filling.
