Nutella

This chocolate hazelnut spread comes together with just a few simple ingredients.

Yield: 2.25-2.625 cups

 

Ingredients

3 cups hazelnuts

3.4 oz unsweetened chocolate

1 cup dates (24)

~18 tbsp date water

1 tsp vanilla (optional- I didn't use)

1/2 tsp sea salt

 

Instructions

1. Remove skin from hazelnuts. Blend.

2. Melt chocolate.

3. Blend

Ingredients

1 cup hazelnuts, toasted

1/3 cup cocoa powder

6 medjool dates (or 15 deglet denoor dates)

3/4 tsp vanilla extract (optional- I didn't use)

1/8 tsp kosher salt

2 tbsp milk (can use 2-4 tbsp liquid, called for in original recipe, needed to blend)

 

Instructions

1. Remove skin from hazelnuts. Blend.

2. Add remaining ingredients. Blend.

Notes: Tastes better on apples than bananas. 1 tbsp nutella = 16g
