Breakfast Cereal
This breakfast cereal tastes great!
Yield: 9 cups
Ingredients
1 cup oats
10 oz flake cereal (approximately 3.75 cups)- I used Uncle Sam Cereal
3 cups rice puffs
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cup chopped dates (I omitted)
1/4 cup almonds
1/4 cup hazelnuts (I omitted)
2 tbsp sunflower seeds
2 tbsp pumpkin seeds
2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
1. Toast oats for 10-15 minutes at 350 degrees.
2. Combine ingredients. Enjoy!

Notes: This is mostly store-bought cereal, but I really like the dates and other fruits/nuts in it. It is a huge cereal upgrade. A bit more fruit might be good.

This breakfast cereal is full of good-for-you ingredients. The sunflower seeds add a crunch and the raisins add sweetness. It is reminiscent of a healthier version of Great Grains cereal.
Yield: 4 servings of ~10-11 tbsp each
Ingredients
2 cups oats
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup slivered almonds
1/2 tsp cinnamon
4 tbsp date soaking liquid
Instructions
1. Toast oats and seeds at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes.
2. Let oats and seeds cool. Add date water. Dehydrate until dry.
3. Combine ingredients.
4. Serve with milk and enjoy.
