Orange and Balsamic Chicken

Juices from an orange diffuse into an orange-balsamic sauce, giving this chicken great flavor.

Ingredients

4 bone-in chicken thighs (~1.5 pounds)

2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

1 unpeeled orange, cut into 8 wedges

 

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Brown both sides in skillet. Bake 10 minutes. Transfer to plate.

2. Add balsamic and orange wedges to the pan used to cook the chicken. Cook 2 minutes (until oranges begin to soften). Return chicken to skillet and toss with orange and sauce.

Notes: Might be able to get away with half the orange.
