Oreos
These cookies taste just like oreos
Yield: ~9 oreos
Ingredients
Cookie
3 tbsp flour
1.5 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
4.5 dates
pinch salt
1/16 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp oil
2.25 tsp milk
Cream Filling (might need double this amount of filling)
2 tbsp cashews, soaked
3/4 date or 1 tsp honey
1/4-1.5 tsp coconut oil
1/24 tsp vanilla (or peppermint extract)
1 tsp milk (if needed for blending)
Instructions
1. Combine dry ingredients.
2. Add wet to dry.
3. Refrigerate 30 minutes.
4. Roll dough. Use cookie cutters to cut. (If the dough is a bit sticky, it may be easier to roll into balls and then press down on baking sheet/parchment.)
5. Bake 20 minutes at 300 degrees, flipping halfway through. (Don't bake longer than 20 minutes, even if they look underdone.) Let cool. (This is necessary so that they crisp up.)
6. Blend cream filling ingredients together. Top on top of oreos. Refrigerate. Sandwich together.

Notes: Yummy. Cream filing is difficult to blend though. Baked oreos are way better than raw oreos. Also try making ice cream sandwiches with the oreo cookies. Or try using a peanut butter spread on the oreos.
