Spirulina Spiced Pumpkin Seeds

These pumpkin seeds are sweet and have the nutritional benefits of spirulina.

Ingredients

1/2 tsp cumin

1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice

1/4 tsp chipotle powder

3 dates

1/4 tsp sea salt

1 tbsp coconut oil

1 cup pumpkin seeds

1/4 cup flax seeds

1/2 tsp spirulina

 

Instructions

1. Coat seeds with melted coconut oil. Toss with spices (but not spirulina).

2. Toast 3-4 minutes. Stir in flax. Toast 30 seconds.

3. Remove from heat. Stir in date syrup. Sprinkle spirulina. Let cool.

 

Serve as snack, on salad, roasted veggies, or soup
